In the absence of Reeve Moore, Councillor Bell assumed the chair as Acting Reeve pursuant to the By-law No. 2003-18.

04-222 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the August 3, 2004 Council meeting as circulated.

04-223 WHEREAS pursuant to Section 259(1)(a) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001 the office of Councillor Don Hindle has become vacant; and

WHEREAS Section 262(1) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001 requires that Council shall at its next meeting declare the office to be vacant;

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that the Council of the Township of McKellar hereby declare the office of Councillor Don Hindle to be vacant.

04-224 That the Township of McKellar accept the tender of Week's Construction in the amount of $29,425.00 for the clearing of the solid waste transfer station as per tender.
