04-181 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the July 5, 2004 Council meeting as circulated.

Carried

 

Councillor Naklowych declared a pecuniary interest on the follow motion and vacated his chair.

04-182 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2004-17, being a by-law to prohibit and regulate signs in the Township, First and Second reading.

04-183 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2004-17, being a by-law to prohibit and regulate signs in the Township, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 19th day of July, 2004.

04-184 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Clerk to submit a funding application to the Trillium Foundation for the replacement of the heritage bridge at Minerva Mill Pond.

04-185 That the Township of McKellar donate $100.00 to the McKellar Agricultural Society to off-set the costs of holding the Magic show at the Community Centre.

04-186 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Tecumseh's resolution requesting "funding assistance from the Provincial Government to assist municipalities in providing water servicing infrastructure in rural areas."

04-187 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Municipality of North Grenville's resolution supporting the enactment of Bill 52, an Act to amend the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, in order to protect the employment of volunteer firefighters.

04-188 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Strong's resolution requesting that "the Town of Parry Sound waive the $25,000 POA 2004 Administrative Fee due to NON-COMPLIANCE of the POA - MOU for the year 2003 and further that any severance package granted to terminated employees of the Town of Parry Sound are the direct expenses of the Town and that the expenses are not to be downloaded to the POA member municipalities but are to be paid by the Town of Parry Sound."
