04-125 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the May 3, 2004 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Larry Taylor, Northern Development Officer with the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines was present to provide Council with an overview of the programs and services provided by the Ministry.

Mr. David Maughan was present to review application for consent, file No. B8/2004 (Phillips)

04-126 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B8/2004 (Phillips) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the buildings and structures on the retained and severed parcels complying with the setback requirements of By-law No. 95-12 as amended.

04-132 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Road Superintendent to issue an Over-Dimensional/Overweight permit to the Ridge at Manitou Inc. as per application dated April 22, 2004 subject to the fulfillment of the attached conditions.

04-133 That the Township of McKellar accept the quote of Scugog Signs in the amount of $1,092.00 plus delivery and tax for the supply of U-channel posts as per quote.

04-134 That the Township of McKellar support the Regional Municipality of Niagara's resolution requesting the Minister of the Environment "to recognize the need to adopt legislation and policies that support Ontario municipalities in the implementation of integrated waste management systems to maximize diversion of waste from landfill and allow for the approval and implementation of disposal alternatives to manage the waste that remains after diversion."

04-135 That the Township of McKellar endorse resolution 2004-164 of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet requesting that the Minister of Municipal Affairs examine ways to improve the production of the municipal voters list.
