08-153 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the June 16, 2008 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Greg Rea was present to voice his concerns to Council regarding the upcoming Public Meeting (Wyeridge-McKellar Inc.) scheduled for July 26, 2008 at the Community Centre. He referenced his letter to Council dated July 7, 2008.

08-161 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Town of Caledon's resolution requesting the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) "to increase the deduction limit of tax exempt allowance paid by employers to employees using their personal vehicles for business purposes from the current rate of 52 cents on the first 5,000 kilometers driven and 46 cents for each additional kilometer."

08-165 That the Township of McKellar agree to accept a conveyance of a 20 metre road allowance along Boundary Road over Part 3, Plan 42R-7768 provided that the owner provide evidence that the newly created parcel (Part 4, Plan 42R-7768) meets the requirements of the Zoning By-law for lot creation. All costs to effect the transfer are to be borne by the applicant.
