08-78 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2008-09, being a by-law to enter into an agreement for Fire Dispatch services, First and Second reading.

08-82 That the Township of McKellar instruct the Clerk to tender for the following:

1. Supply and application of 180 tonnes of liquid calcium
2. Supply of 2600 tonnes of screened washed crusher dust
3. 6,000 tonnes 5/8's quarried granite supplied and applied

08-83 WHEREAS the Province announced capital funding for municipalities in its 2008 budget; and

WHEREAS
the Province has allocated $308,905 to the Township of McKellar's municipal road and bridge capital needs;

THEREFORE
be it resolved that the Council of the Township of McKellar allocate the $308,905 in funding from the Province towards municipal road and bridge capital needs and that a final summary report detailing expenditures, use of provincial funding and outcomes achieved shall be submitted to the ministry and further that the ministry may request an independent audit of the project(s) and any funds intended for the project(s) that are not used in accordance with rehabilitation of municipal road and bridge capital investment needs or the terms outlined above will be returned to the ministry.

08-84 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Hilliard's resolution petitioning the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario to continue to allow the ownership of handguns.

08-85 That the Township of McKellar endorse the City of Port Colborne's resolution calling upon the Association of Municipalities of Ontario to "petition and work with the Province of Ontario on the development and provision of a proper and fair provincial funding mechanism to assist municipalities and other provincially funded public sector organizations in complying with the provisions of O.Reg. 429/07 so that the financial burden imposed by the Regulation is fairly shared by all residents in Ontario."

08-89 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B50/2007 (Camp Manitou) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant entering into an unassumed road improvement agreement which will be registered on title to all properties pursuant to Section 51(26) of the Planning Act. Approval subject to an Official Plan Amendment to permit access and to designate the property Waterfront and also rezoning the subject lands to a special provision to designate the lands as waterfront and to increase the front yard setback provision to 15 metres. Deeded right of ways to be registered to the severed and retained parcels.
