08-40 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the February 4, 2008 Council meeting as circulated.

08-41 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2008-06, being a by-law to restrict the weight of vehicles passing over municipal bridges, First and Second reading.

08-43 That the Township of McKellar authorize the CBO to attend the Nutrient Management Act information session in Trout Creek on February 28, 2008.

08-44 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Machar's resolution petitioning the Provincial Government "to properly fund English Public Schools in Northern Ontario as a special interest, to the extent needed to keep them open and operational in safe repair."

08-45 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Greater Madawaska's resolution requesting the Province of Ontario to "establish a system whereby revenue from stumpage fees paid to the province by the logging companies be used to compensate municipalities for damages sustained to municipal roads as a result of the logging companies use of municipal roads and further, that the province establishes the same system for compensating municipalities per tonne of logs in the same manner as currently occurs with aggregate extraction in municipalities."

08-46 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Road Superintendent to attend the Municipal Basic Road Management course in Guelph on May 4 - 7, 2008. Costs to be paid.

08-47 That the Township of McKellar direct staff to process a zoning by-law amendment for Concession 4, Part of Lot 22 (Aloe) as per application. Application is hereby deemed to be complete.

08-48 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B47/2007 (Petersen) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the Township parkland requirements being met. The applicant shall deed to the Township that portion of land 10 metres from the centre line of the travelled road as it abuts the proposed retained and severed parcels should a survey reveal an encroachment.

08-49 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B49/2007 (Chantler) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the Township parkland requirements being met. The applicant shall deed to the Township that portion of land 10 metres from the centre line of the travelled road as it abuts the proposed retained and severed parcels should a survey reveal an encroachment. Applicant to confirm that all accessory buildings conform to the requirements of By-law No. 95-12 (Zoning By-law) prior to final approval.
