Council Meeting Minutes November 5, 2007

07-247 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the October 15, 2007 Council meeting as circulated.

Carried

Visitors: Mr. Jim McColl was present to propose to Council the creation of a Committee of Council to be known as the McKellar Community Enhancement Committee. Mr. McColl stated that the committee's mandate would be to review the community's existing assets and make recommendations to Council on how best to utilize these assets to their best advantage. Reeve Moore thanked Mr. McColl for attending and stated that Council would review the proposed committee's proposal.

Listed visitor Marilyn Sparrow did not attend.

Listed visitor Ted Davidson did not attend.

Mr. Don Hotchkiss was present to ask Council if the Wye Ridge Holdings development reports had been received. Reeve Moore stated that no reports had been received to date. Mr. Hotchkiss also requested that the reports and peer review be made available to the public when received, that the public meeting not be scheduled until adequate time has been given to review the reports, 'preferably in the spring after the ice is out.' Reeve Moore thanked Mr. Hotchkiss for attending.

07-248 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2007-19, being a by-law to enter into an unassumed road improvement agreement, First and Second reading.
