07-234 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the October 1, 2007 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Glenn Robinson, Secretary Treasurer of the Planning Board was present to review Applications for Consent, file Nos. B33/2007 (Chandrasekara), B30/2007 (Aloe), B22/2007 (Sora),, B36/2007 (Maki) and B35/2007 (Fox Farm Road Group)

Mr. Dennis Trinaistich, Counsel for Wye Ridge Holdings was present to review the status of the Wye Ridge Holding rezoning application. Mr. Trinaistich indicated that the consultant reports should be complete in early November and that the proponent is currently working on a draft site plan. Mr. Trinaistich also requested that the second public meeting not be scheduled until at least 30 days after the peer review is completed to allow for proper notice.

07-235 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B33/2007 (Chandrasekara) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the Township parkland requirements being met. The applicant shall deed to the Township that portion of land 10 metres from the centre line of the travelled road as it abuts the proposed retained and severed parcels should a survey reveal an encroachment.

07-236 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B30/2007 (Aloe) subject to the various commenting agency approvals, the Township parkland requirements being met and the parking and docking area being deeded and rezoned exclusively for use by the island property.

07-237 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B22/2007 (Sorra) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant rezoning parcel 10961 to permit a smaller dwelling size than that permitted by By-law No. 95-12.

07-238 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B36/2007 (Maki) subject to the various commenting agency approvals, a deeded right of way being provided to the severed parcel from a public road and the Township parkland requirements being met.

07-239 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B35/2007 (Fox Farm Road Group) subject to the various agency approvals and all property owners subject to the application entering into an unassumed road improvement agreement which will be registered on title to all properties pursuant to Section 51(26) of the Planning Act.

07-240 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2007-18, being a by-law to enter into a licence agreement with the Ministry of Transportation for use of a communication tower, First and Second reading.

07-242 That the Township of McKellar accept the quote of Blitz Electric in the amount of $2,538.70 for the supply and installation of one electric furnace as per quote.

07-243 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Burpee and Mills' resolution requesting that the Province of Ontario "directly refund to the Municipalities the 75% Farmland, Managed Forest and Conservation Land Tax."

07-244 That the Township of McKellar support resolution 2007/177 of the Council of the Municipality of McDougall seeking representation on the Near North School Board Accommodation Review Committee.

07-245 That the Township of McKellar is assigned one position on the Accomodation Review Committee, with the member to be appointed by the Council of McKellar at a future Council meeting;

And that this resolution be circulated to the District of Parry Sound area municipalities for their support;

And that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Near North District School Board, the Accomodation Review Committee and the Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Minister of Education.
