07-224 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the September 21, 2007 Special Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Frank Pearce was present to request an update on the proposed Moore property development. Reeve Moore stated that the Township is currently waiting for the final reports from Wye Ridge Holdings, and once received, the reports will be forwarded to the peer reviewer.
Mr. Ted Davidson was present to address Council regarding proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 6. Mr. Davidson submitted to Council his written comments and response to the Township Planner's reply to his letter of September 19, 2007.

07-229 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Stirling-Rawdon's resolution requesting "that the governments at the federal and provincial level seek to develop a program that will provide prompt assistance to residents who are dealing with the aftermath and repercussion of a catastrophic natural event."

07-230 That the Township of McKellar endorse The Nation Municipality's resolution petitioning the Ministry of the Environment to change the responsibility for sampling and testing the plumbing in private homes for lead to the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.
