07-90 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the April 16, 2007 Council meeting as circulated.

07-91 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2007-08, being a by-law to adopt the estimates of all sums required during the year 2007, First and Second reading.

07-92 That the Township of McKellar approve General Government Voucher #4 in the amount of $177,823.22 as follows:

Fire Department 4,176.91

Community Centre 9,932.35

07-93 That the Township of McKellar approve Road Voucher #4 in the amount of $29,783.90.

07-94 That the Township of McKellar accept the tender of Da-Lee Dust Control in the amount of $63,366.59 for the supply and application of dust suppressant as per tender.

07-95 That the Township of McKellar accept the tender of Fowler Construction Ltd. in the amount of $27,181.44 for the supply and stockpile of crusher dust as per tender.

07-96 That the Township of McKellar accept the tender of Week's Construction in the amount of $101,073.00 for the supply and application of granular 'A' as per tender.

07-97 That the Township of McKellar accept the quote of Canada Culvert in the amount of $12,966.55 for the supply and delivery of culverts as per quote.

07-98 That the Township of McKellar, pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, as amended, move into closed session at 7:57 p.m.

07-99 That the Township of McKellar come out of closed session at 8:27 p.m. and reconvene the meeting.

07-100 That the Township of McKellar accept the reports, recommendations and directions arising from the closed session held May 7, 2007.

07-101 That the Township of McKellar hire Andrew Kerr to the position of Swim Instructor as per the attached Schedule 'A'.

07-102 That the Township of McKellar participate in the West Parry Sound Area Joint Emergency Plan to be prepared by Community Emergency Management Solutions Inc. Costs not to exceed $2000.00.

07-103 That the Township of McKellar extend the custodial contract to June 30, 2008.

07-104 WHEREAS Canada has yet to properly honour, in a suitable location that is always accessible to the public, the names of all of our fallen in wars and peacekeeping;

over 115,000 fallen have their graves in seventy-three countries and hundreds of cemeteries;

their remains, by law, cannot be repatriated to Canada;

we must create a suitable national shrine to our fallen;

proper recognition will show our gratitude and respect for their sacrifice;

that the Council of the Township of McKellar requests that the Government of Canada enact Private Members Bill C-417, the Canadian Soldiers' and Peacekeepers' Memorial Wall Act.

07-105 That the Township of McKellar support the AMO/AMRC discussion paper on Strengthening Extended Producer Responsibilities in Ontario's Blue Box.

07-106 That the Township of McKellar request the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to investigate why the drug Erbitux is not covered by OHIP for all patients.

07-107 That the Township of McKellar direct staff to process an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment to allow for a consent by M-B Investments in Part of Lots 24 and 25, Concession 9 subject to a minimum lot frontage of 120 metres on Middle River and the applicant entering into any applicable agreements to use the unopened road allowance.

07-108 That the Township of McKellar approve Application for Consent, file No. B11/2007 (Madigan) subject to the various agency approvals and the parkland requirements being met.

07-109 That the Township of McKellar adjourn to meet again on May 22, 2007 or at the call of the Reeve. Meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
