07-39 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the February 5, 2007 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Ms. Tiiu Aloe was present to request that Council consider assuming maintenance on Fire Route #200. Reeve Moore stated that the Township will be looking into maintaining Township unassumed roads in the spring.

07-40 That the Township of McKellar amend Schedule 'A' to resolution #2005-257 by changing the rental amount applicable to Recreation, Library, Seniors, Action Committee (fund raising functions) from $50.00 to $35.00/function (max 5 hours) plus GST effective March 1, 2007.

07-41 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Town of Newmarket's resolution requesting "the Province of Ontario to:
a) Review and amend the Highway Traffic Act and associated regulations and standards as required regarding school area and school crossing zone signage;
b) Provide approval for the use of Fluorescent Yellow Green school signage;
c) Provide a formal decision on this matter prior to the start of the 2007/2008 school year."

07-42 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Scugog's resolution petitioning "the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services; Emergency Management Ontario and the Federal Government to revise the funding formula and application process for the Joint Emergency Preparedness Program to increase grants available for emergency preparedness purposes and reduce funding limitations."
