06-273 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the November 6, 2006 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Ms. Jordanna Lipson was present on behalf of the Inn at Manitou to object to application for consent, file No. B19/2006 (The Ridge at Manitou).

Mr. Glenn Robinson, Secretary-Treasurer of the Parry Sound Area Planning Board was present to review with Council consent applications B43/2006 (Lea), B38/2006 (Madigan) and B42/2006 (Campbell).

06-274 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B43/2006 (Lea) subject to the various commenting agency approvals. Agreement has been entered into to cross unopened road allowance between Concessions 6 and 7, Lot 2.

06-275 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B38/2006 (Madigan) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant satisfying the parkland requirements.

06-276 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B42/2006 (Campbell) subject to the various commenting agency approval and the applicant providing evidence of septic approval prior to Planning Board approval. All parkland provisions shall apply. Applicant shall meet the requirements of Official Plan and Zoning By-law regarding access and setbacks.

06-277 That the Township of McKellar endorse the County of Prince Edward's resolution notifying the "Minister of Finance that it will freeze payments to MPAC at the 2006 rate until it is determined that MPAC has implemented changes that will result in an improved and strong, functioning system that is fair to all Ontarians."

06-278 That the Township of McKellar request the Parry Sound District Social Services Administration Board to maintain or increase the level of support for Harvest Share due to increased usage of the program.

06-279 That the Township of McKellar endorse the City of Niagara Falls' resolution calling on "the Provincial Government to review the Workplace and Safety Insurance Act in order to ensure that firefighters and their families receive fair and timely compensation for illness or disease that is attributable to their work as firefighters."

06-280 That the Township of McKellar donate $100.00 to the Broadbent Snowbugs Children's Christmas Party to be held on December 3, 2006.

06-281 That the Township of McKellar give all permanent employees a $75.00 Christmas bonus.

06-282 That the Township of McKellar advertise the following Christmas hours:

06-283 That the Township of McKellar reschedule the January 2007 meetings of Council to January 8, 2007 and January 22, 2007.

06-284 That the Township of McKellar, pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, move into closed session at 9:10 p.m.

06-285 That the Township of McKellar come out of closed session at 9:30 p.m. and reconvene the meeting.

06-286 That the Township of McKellar adjourn to meet again on December 4, 2006 or at the call of the Reeve. Meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
