Present: Reeve David Moore and Councillors Gerald Bell, Leonard Brown, Jury Naklowych and Debbie Zulak

06-94 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the April 3, 2006 Council meeting as circulated.

Carried

Visitors: Mr. Gord Cole and Ms. Shirlene Johnston were present to review with Council a proposed eight lot waterfront subdivision on Part of Lot 16, Concession B prior to a formal application being submitted to the Planning Board.

Mr. Glenn Robinson, Secretary of the Planning Board was present to review with Council Consent Applications, B6/2006 (McEwen), B7/2006 (Ficker), B8/2006 (Sorra) and B4/2006 (Bell).

Mr. Joe McEwen and Mr. Paul Forth, OLS, were present to answer any questions regarding Consent Application B6/2006 (McEwen).

Councillor Bell declared a conflict of interest on file No. B4/2006 and vacated his chair.

06-95 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B4/2006 (Bell) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant meeting the parkland requirements.

06-105 That the Township of McKellar submit to the Minister of Finance Ontario a request to amend the Township's transition ratios to revenue neutral ratios as per the attached Schedule 'A' in order to mitigate reassessment impacts.

06-106 That the Township of McKellar request the Premier of Ontario and the Minister of Transportation to calculate any future funding programs for roads and bridges based on lane kilometres of roads and not population or households and further that this resolution be circulated to the District of Parry Sound Municipal Association for support.
