06-94 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the April 3, 2006 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Gord Cole and Ms. Shirlene Johnston were present to review with Council a proposed eight lot waterfront subdivision on Part of Lot 16, Concession B prior to a formal application being submitted to the Planning Board.

Mr. Glenn Robinson, Secretary of the Planning Board was present to review with Council Consent Applications, B6/2006 (McEwen), B7/2006 (Ficker), B8/2006 (Sorra) and B4/2006 (Bell).

Mr. Joe McEwen and Mr. Paul Forth, OLS, were present to answer any questions regarding Consent Application B6/2006 (McEwen).

06-95 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B4/2006 (Bell) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant meeting the parkland requirements.

06-96 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B7/2006 (Ficker) subject to the various commenting agency approvals.

06-97 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B6/2006 (McEwen) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant meeting the MDS and parkland requirements.

06-98 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B8/2006 (Sorra) subject to the various commenting agency approvals.

06-99 That the Township of McKellar give By-law No. 2006-09, being a by-law to set the 2006 tax ratios, First and Second reading.

06-100 That the Township of McKellar give By-law No. 2006-09, being a by-law to set the 2006 tax ratios, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 18^th day of April, 2006.

06-101 That the Township of McKellar give By-law No. 2006-10, being a by-law to establish the 2006 capping parameters, First and Second reading.

06-102 That the Township of McKellar give By-law No. 2006-10, being a by-law to establish the 2006 capping parameters, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 18^th day of April, 2006.

06-103 That the Township of McKellar authorize the West Parry Sound Health Centre to locate a pager tower at the Township garage subject to entering into a lease agreement.

06-104 That the Township of McKellar hire Steve Horton to the position of Equipment Operator as per the attached Schedule 'A'.

06-105 That the Township of McKellar submit to the Minister of Finance Ontario a request to amend the Township's transition ratios to revenue neutral ratios as per the attached Schedule 'A' in order to mitigate reassessment impacts.

06-106 That the Township of McKellar request the Premier of Ontario and the Minister of Transportation to calculate any future funding programs for roads and bridges based on lane kilometres of roads and not population or households and further that this resolution be circulated to the District of Parry Sound Municipal Association for support.

06-107 That the Township of McKellar accept the quote of Toshiba Canada in the amount of $5,997.00 plus applicable taxes for the supply and installation of one 232 Digital Copier as per quote.

06-108 That the Township of McKellar tender for the supply and installation of a water treatment system at the Community Centre.

06-109 That the Township of McKellar declare the month of June as Seniors' Month in the Township.

06-110 That the Township of McKellar support the attached resolution of the Township of King regarding rural mail delivery service by Canada Post.

06-111 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Parry Sound Base Hospital Committee's resolution requesting that the Ministry of Health not reduce the number of Base Hospitals in Northern Ontario.

06-112 That the Township of McKellar adjourn to meet again on May 1, 2006 or at the call of the Reeve. Meeting adjourned at 10:25 p.m.
