06-61 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the March 6, 2006 Council meeting as circulated.

06-62 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2006-07, being a by-law to deem Lots 52-55, Plan M-142 in the Township of McKellar not to be part of a registered Plan of Subdivision, First and Second reading.

06-63 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2006-07, being a by-law to deem Lots 52-55, Plan M-142 in the Township of McKellar not to be part of a registered Plan of Subdivision, Third reading and passed in Open Council this 20th day of March 2006.

06-64 That the Township of McKellar instruct the Clerk to tender for the following:

Supply and application of 180 tonnes of liquid calcium

Supply of 2200 tonnes of washed crusher dust for winter sand

06-65 That the Township of McKellar proceed with design work on the Broadbent Bridge as per Totten Sims Hubicki Associates letter of March 3, 2006.

06-66 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Region of Durham's resolution requesting that the Government of Ontario remove the barriers to family physicians who wish to relocate their medical practices to Ontario from other provinces.

06-67 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of King's resolution supporting the efforts of the Ontario Farmland Trust in regards to:

"- the federal and provincial governments being urged to amend their Income Tax Acts to provide the same benefits to donors of farmland for which donors of ecologically sensitive lands now qualify;

- the federal and provincial governments being requested to consider other farmland conservation incentives to ensure that farmland remains in agriculture."

06-68 That the Township of McKellar endorse the County of Grey's resolution urging the Association of Municipalities of Ontario and the provincial Government "to develop a plan to begin to address this municipal financial crisis, by contributing to municipalities, beginning in 2006, a Provincial commitment to Ontario's municipalities, of $600 million per year for the next five years, this commitment will begin to address the serious financial crisis facing municipalities in Ontario."

06-69 That the Township of McKellar donate $300.00 to the McDougall School Council to be used towards the Victoria Day long weekend fireworks display at McDougall School.

06-70 That the Township of McKellar supports the 2006 Census and encourages all residents to complete their census forms online at www.census2006.ca or by mail by Tuesday May 16, 2006, so that accurate and complete data will be available to support programs and social services that benefit us all.
