05-246 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Stone Mills resolution recommending that the Province of Ontario "amend the Provincial Policy Statement to phase in Section 2.3.4 Lot Creation and Lot Adjustments over a five year period and provide to municipalities sensible and practicable solutions to identifying on planning documents a true reflection of prime agricultural areas."

05-247 That the Township of McKellar endorse the City of Hamilton's resolution endorsing the Ontario Mayors for the Future of Agriculture recommendation "that the Province of Ontario immediately develop effective funding mechanisms specifically to support rural and agricultural development issues."

05-248 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Town of Tecumseh's resolution requesting the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services to "re-affirm their support of the Community Emergency Response Volunteers (CERV) Funding; and further, that the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services re-instate envelope funding to provide Municipalities throughout Ontario the opportunity to train and certify their residents to ensure that they continue to make communities stronger and safety resilient."

05-249 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Reeve and Clerk to execute a site plan agreement with Taeryn's Cover All Tarping Limited as per application.

05-250 That the Township of McKellar instruct the Clerk to write the Department of Fisheries and Oceans stating that the Township has no objection to the road allowance between Lots 25 and 26 in the 9th Concession being improved subject to the applicants entering into an Unassumed Road Improvement Agreement with the municipality. All conditions which may be imposed by Fisheries and Oceans and other government agencies to be adhered to by the applicants.

05-254 That the Township of McKellar direct the Fire Chief to get cost estimates for septic system, site preparation and construction of 2 bay garage with one bay suitable for classroom at Station No. 2 as per discussion at the meeting of September 28, 2005.
