05-208 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the August 15, 2005 Council meeting as circulated.

05-209 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-17, being a by-law to restrict the weight of vehicles passing over bridges, First and Second reading.

05-210 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-17, being a by-law to restrict the weight of vehicles passing over bridges, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 6^th day of September, 2005.

05-211 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-18, being a by-law to deem Lots 5 and 6, south of Junction Road, Plan 9, not to be part of Registered Plan of Subdivision, First and Second reading.

05-212 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-18, being a by-law to deem Lots 5 and 6, south of Junction Road, Plan 9, not to be part of Registered Plan of Subdivision, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 6^th day of September, 2005.

05-213 That the Township of McKellar approve General Government Voucher #8 in the amount of $119,880.78 as follows:

05-214 That the Township of McKellar approve Road Voucher #8 in the amount of $63,568.50.

05-215 That the Township of McKellar accept the quote of Frank Cowan Company in the amount of $30,742.00 for the provision of insurance services for 2005/06 as per quote.

05-216 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Clerk to attend the AMCTO Zone 7 Workshop on September 29/30, 2005. Costs to be paid.

05-217 That the Township of McKellar endorse the County of Brant's resolution requesting the Province of Ontario to "move forward expeditiously to find a solution to the pension disparity of local police service members who transferred to the Ontario Provincial Police by contract."

05-218 That the Township of McKellar endorse the City of Port Colborne's resolution petitioning the Premier of Ontario, the Minister of Consumer and Business Services and the Registrar of Alcohol and Gaming "to support a change to the regulatory framework for charitable gaming in Ontario and Canada to permit the licensing of municipal museums and public libraries and the use of proceeds from lottery schemes to continue and enhance the services they offer and further that the Provincial government be asked to petition the Federal Government for the legislative amendments to the Criminal Code that are necessary to provide an exemption for municipal museums and public libraries to the general prohibition on the conduct of lottery schemes."

05-219 That the Township of McKellar authorize interested Councillors to attend the fall Municipal Association meeting on October 3, 2005. Costs to be paid.

05-220 That the Township of McKellar accept the quote of Harper Tire in the amount of $4,911.60 for the supply of 4 1400R24 Michelin snow plus grader tires.

05-221 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Road Superintendent to attend the Level I Explosives refresher course on October 4/5, 2005 in Mississauga. Costs to be paid.

05-222 That the Township of McKellar have no objection to Bell Mobility erecting a telecommunications tower on Part Lot 28, Concession B, known as tower CS#1521.

05-223 That the Township of McKellar authorize Emily Scott to attend the HTML Level I course in Parry Sound. Costs to be paid.

05-224 That the Township of McKellar, pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, move into closed session at 10:15 p.m.

05-225 That the Township of McKellar come out of closed session at 10:35 p.m. and reconvene the meeting.

05-226 That the Township of McKellar concur with the attached resolution No. 05-37 passed by the Parry Sound Area Information Centre and agree to repay the deposit to the Information Centre as per the Township's proportionate share as outlined in the Information Centre Agreement should there be a future court ruling concerning the deposit.

05-227 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards' resolution "to approach the Federal Government in regards to reducing the cost of heating oil and dropping the GST."

05-228 That the Township of McKellar adjourn to meet again on September 19, 2005 or at the call of the Reeve. Meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m.
