05-89 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the April 4, 2005 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Glenn Robinson was present to review with Council application for consent, file No. B16/2005 (Melen), application for consent, file No. B11/2005 (Moore) and application for consent, file No. B18/2005 (LeBlanc).

Mr. Paul Forth, O.L.S. was present to review with Council application for consent, file No. B16/2005 (Melen).

05-90 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B16/2005 (Melen) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant deeding to the municipality that parcel of land 10 metres from the centre line of the Broadbent Road as it abuts the proposed severed and retained parcels should a survey reveal an encroachment.

05-91 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B11/2005 (Moore) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant deeding to the municipality that parcel of land 10 metres from the centre line of the Fox Farm Road as it abuts the proposed severed and retained parcels should a survey reveal an encroachment.

05-92 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B18/2005 (LeBlanc) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the following conditions:

1. Rezoning the property to reflect the new lot frontages and areas.

2. The applicant applying to deem Lots 52, 53, 54 and 55 not to be lots on a plan of subdivision.

3. The applicant applying to the Township to stop up and close that portion of the road allowance relating to the relocated turn around and deeding to the Township the relocated turn around as per application.

05-93 That the Township of McKellar approve the issuance of a Bingo licence to the McKellar Senior Citizens Centre. All terms and conditions of said licence to be adhered to.

05-94 That the Township of McKellar tender for the replacement of the shingle roof at the Community Centre and blown insulation over the office and library.

05-95 That the Township of McKellar support the proposal by the Ministry of Natural Resources to permit gun hunting on Sundays on private land during existing gun hunting seasons within the Township of McKellar.

05-96 That the Township of McKellar support the Association of Municipalities of Ontario's position that the Province restore the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program to a provincially funded rebate program.

05-97 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Town of Tecumseh's resolution petitioning the Province of Ontario "to provide 100% funding to the Canadian Red Cross to provide disaster relief training."

05-98 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Regional Municipality of Niagara's resolution requesting the Governments of Ontario and of Canada to;

"a. ensure that the implementation and application of nutrient management rules are done in a way that addresses the concerns the farm community has repeatedly raised.

b. Recognize the environmental benefits provided by farmers offset any need for administrative charges on water taking permits.

c. Restore confidence of government/farmer partnership by re-establishing long-term investment in drainage infrastructure.

d. Immediately implement an action plan to address the farm income crisis."

05-99 That the Township of McKellar endorse the City of Ottawa's resolution requesting that "the Government of Ontario reconsider its decision to disallow and eliminate retirement farm lots for bona fide farmers."

05-100 That the Township of McKellar authorize three road employees to attend the Traffic Control Technical Training course in Seguin on April 28, 2005. Costs to be paid.
