05-57 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the March 7, 2005 Council meeting as circulated.

05-58 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-04, being a by-law to rezone Part of Lot 27, Concession 10, First and Second reading.

05-59 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-04, being a by-law to rezone Part of Lot 27, Concession 10, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 21^st day of March, 2005.

VISITORS: Ms. Melvina Marsh, a tenant of the Museum and a ratepayer of the Township was present to speak in favour of the Township providing long term financial support for the West Parry Sound District Museum. A general discussion of the museum's financial situation ensued. Reeve Moore thanked Ms. Marsh for attending and sharing her views with Council.

05-60 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-05, being a by-law to enter into an agreement for the disposal of household hazardous waste, First and Second reading.

05-61 That the Township of McKellar hereby give By-law No. 2005-05, being a by-law to enter into an agreement for the disposal of household hazardous waste, Third reading and Passed in Open Council this 21^st day of March 2005.

05-62 WHEREAS the Board of the West Parry Sound District Museum has approached the seven West Parry Sound District Municipalities for ongoing financial support on a long-term, annual basis;

that the Council of the Township of McKellar agree to financially support the West Parry Sound District Museum using a levy formula based on 1/3 assessment, 1/3 population and 1/3 households figures and direct the Treasurer to release the 2005 contribution of $9,141.27 conditional upon all West Parry Sound Area Municipalities making the same commitment for 2005. Funding to the museum to be reviewed on an annual basis.

05-63 That the Township of McKellar authorize interested Councillors to attend the Parry Sound District Municipal Association spring meeting on April 25, 2005.

05-64 That the Township of McKellar appoint Reeve Moore to represent the Township on the West Parry Sound District Museum Board.

05-65 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Association of Municipal Tax Collectors of Ontario's resolution urging the Province of Ontario "to amend the legislation commencing for the 2006 taxation year, to specify that once a property reaches CVA (current value assessment) taxation, it remains at CVA taxes regardless of the result of future reassessments."

05-66 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Town of Hanover's resolution requesting the following:

05-67 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Municipality of Tweed's resolution petitioning the provincial and federal governments "to allow municipalities to use the pre-engineering studies that were carried out prior to the announcement of the COMRIF program."

05-68 That the Township of McKellar write off the 2005 property taxes on the United Church Manse, Roll No. 003-24000.

05-69 That the Township of McKellar instruct the Clerk to prepare a zoning by-law amendment for Part Lot 16, Concession 4 as per application and conditions of consent, file No. B3/2005.

05-70 That the Township of McKellar instruct the Clerk to tender for the following:

05-71 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Road Superintendent to attend the Fisheries and Oceans Workshop of April 20, 2005 in Mississauga. Costs to be paid.

05-72 That the Township of McKellar adjourn to meet again on April 4, 2005 or at the call of the Reeve. Meeting adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
