05-48 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the February 21, 2005 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. Bob Hawkins, O.L.S. was present to review with Council relocation of cul-de-sac, Plan M-142, and Application for Consent, file #B10/05 (Waddell).

Mr. Glenn Robinson was present to review with Council Application for consent, file #B4/05 (Harris), and Application for Consent, file #B10/05 (Waddell).

05-49 That the Township of McKellar approve Application for Consent, file No. B4/05 (Harris) subject to the various commenting agency approvals and the applicant deeding to the Township that parcel of land 10 metres from the centre line of Hardies Road as it abuts the proposed severed and retained parcels should a survey reveal an encroachment.

05-52 That the Township of McKellar approve Road Voucher #2 in the amount of $28,629.41.

05-53 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Municipality of West Nipissing's resolution petitioning the Minister of Health and Long Term Care to address the funding inequities that exist in the health care system and renew the Provincial Government's commitment to provide effective medical care to rural and northern communities in Northern Ontario.

05-54 That the Township of McKellar endorse the Township of St. Clair's resolution requesting that the Government of Ontario and Canada:

"a. ensure that the implementation and application of nutrient management rules are done in a way that addresses the concerns the farm community has repeatedly raised.

b. recognize that environmental benefits provided by farmers offset any need for administrative charges on water taking permits.

c. restore confidence in the government/farmer partnership by re-establishing long-term investment in drainage infrastructure.

d. immediately implement an action plan to address the farm income crisis."
