04-296 That the Township of McKellar approve General Government Voucher #10 in the amount of $99,011.70 as follows:

General Government 49,595.18

Waste Services 28,216.80

Ambulance Services 10,706.05

Recreation 838.11

Community Centre 2,234.77

Fire Department 7,420.79

04-297 That the Township of McKellar approve Road Voucher #10 in the amount of $46,619.12.

04-298 Whereas the Ministry of Culture has not increased the Public Library Operating Grant funding level for public libraries since 1998;

Now therefore be it resolved that the Council of the Township of McKellar petition the Minister of Culture to review the Public Library Operating Grant program to update the funding levels to current household counts and that a system be put in place to update the funding formula on a yearly basis and that a copy of this resolution be circulated to the West Parry Sound municipalities, the Parry Sound District Municipal Association and our M.P.P. for support.
