04-286 That the Township of McKellar accept the minutes of the October 4, 2004 Council meeting as circulated.

Visitors: Mr. John Jackson, Planner, was present to review with Council the Taylor site plan agreement and application for consent, file No. B35/2004 (Little).

04-287 That the Township of McKellar authorize the Reeve and Clerk to execute the attached site plan agreement for Part of Lot 35, Concession 4 (Taylor).

04-288 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B35/2004 (Little) subject to the various agency approvals and the applicant rezoning the subject lands to the WF2 zone and adjusting the zoning for the parking and right-of-way to reflect the existing legally described area as intended in OPA No. 4.

04-289 Whereas the Public Library offers access to information;

And Whereas

the Public Library supports personal growth, economic renewal and quality of life;

And Whereas

it is recognized that the Board and Staff of the McKellar Township Public Library provides a vital service to our community;

Therefore

be it resolved that the Council of the Township of McKellar proclaim the week of October 18 - 24, 2004 to be Ontario Public Library Week in the Township and encourage all residents to take advantage of the services the Library provides throughout the year.

04-290 That the Township of McKellar hereby declare October 27, 2004 as "Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day" in the Township.

04-291 That the Township of McKellar support McKinnon Prospecting's letter of September 24, 2004 opposing the practice of map staking and calling on the Government of Ontario to continue to use ground staking for identifying mining claims.

04-292 That the Township of McKellar approve application for consent, file No. B36/2004 (Sommer) subject to the various agency approvals and the owners of Lot 6, Plan 42M-586 applying to the Township to deem the lot under Section 50 of the Planning Act.

04-293 That the Township of McKellar purchase two 40 yard bear proof containers from JSW Manufacturing Inc. in the amount of $16,506.00 plus applicable taxes.
